Classrooms
Dedicated To Education
We believe our facility to be a happy place where children can feel truly safe, accepted, and loved.
1-12 Months
Infant
Planning in the infant classroom is based on current research. The teachers plan the day the relationship way. They will make daily and weekly changes in their environment and in their reactions in response to each child’s needs, interests, goals, and exploration of concepts. This also means the teachers support all the relationships that are key to children’s development- parent/child, teacher/child, teacher/family, and child/child relationships.
1-2 Yeats
Toddler
In our toddler room, the children actually develop the curriculum. Every experience and every minute in the day are a part of the toddler curriculum. Diapering, feeding, washing, and comforting are elements of the curriculum, as are singing, playing, watching, and moving. While all children develop in similar ways, each is unique. Children are natural learners.
2 Year Olds
Pre-Preschool
In our two-year old room we use Project Construct Curriculum. The room is arranged in centers. We have large group time on the rug and that’s when we sing songs, talk about our day, find out who is here today, etc. After this we break off into small groups and rotate playing in the learning centers. Aside from that we work on our shapes, colors and toilet learning. We also work on using our manners, sharing, and self-help skills, as well as fine-motor and gross-motor.
3 Year Olds
Preschool
In our three-year old preschool classroom we use Project Construct Curriculum, which is a curriculum based on what we know about children and how they learn. They learn best using a hands-on, minds-on approach through play. Every child is respected both as learners and as individuals. We teach them how to problem-solve and make good choices. We work on numbers, colors, shapes, sharing, self-help skills, using scissors properly and a variety of other skills.
4-5 Year Olds
Preschool
In our 4 & 5 year old preschool room we implement Project Construct Techniques. Project Construct Curriculum is based on what we know about children and how they learn. They learn best using a hands-on, minds-on approach through play. Every child is valued and respected both as learners and as individuals. We teach the children how to problem solve and make good choices, while we introduce pre-kindergarten readiness skills on a daily basis.
5-13 Year Olds
School Age
We offer before and after school care plus summer care for school age children ages 5-13. We provide structured activities to meet the developmental needs, interests, and academic needs of the enrolled children.
